For Summit Series II 306XX Chargers
Summit II Battery Chargers are shipped Multi-Voltage function enabled but user may require single voltage operation of the charger. This document lists the programming steps to install the required battery profile and change the system profile settings for single voltage operation. A User Account (created within the App –Technical Bulletin MTB 12) is required to perform these program changes.
Enable the Bluetooth® wireless option on your smart device and launch the ChargerConnectTM App. Select your charger from the drop-down list (default name will be the serial number of your charger) and select it to establish communication with your charger.
Allow the Dashboard to populate with real time data from your charger, observe the battery profile number listed on the display, the default profile number will be 22051. This battery profile needs to be changed to 22201 for 48 Volt operation.
Press the 3 lines in the upper left-hand corner to view the drop-down menu and select “Login/Register”.
Enter your Email Address and Password to complete the Login Process.
After the Login Process is complete, the App will return to the Dashboard Page.
Press the 3 lines in the upper left-hand corner to view the drop-down menu and select “Battery Profile”. Allow the Charger Profile page to populate and if 22201 is present, select it by touching the white selection circle, if not, follow the below instructions.
Allow the Dashboard to populate with real time data from your charger and press the “Cloud Profiles” selection on the bottom of the display.
Find Battery Profile 22201 press the green arrow key to the right to upload the profile to your device.
Press the “Device Profiles” selection from the bottom of the display, then touch the arrow key next to profile 22201.
The APP will request additional information for the system profile setting, if your vehicle is an EZGO RXV Cart with a triangle DC Plug select “yes” if not select “no”.
The APP will then ask for storage slot number for the profile to be transferred to your charger, enter “3”.
The APP will then reboot the charger to assign the new battery profile. Once this action is complete, touch the serial number of the charger to re-establish communication.
Once the charger is online, verify the proper battery profile is installed.
Press the 3 lines in the upper left-hand corner to vie the drop-down menu and select “Login/Register” Log in to your user account once more to re-configure the System Profile.
Once the Login Process is complete, the App will return to the “Dashboard” page.
Press the 3 Lines in the upper left-hand corner to view the drop-down menu and select “System Profile”.
Find the 24V, 36V or 48V Auto Profile and touch the arrow key next to “Scalable Profile”.
Select “Off” from the drop-down menu.
A warning box will appear indicating the scalable feature of the charger has been disabled, select “OK” to proceed.
Press “Save” to keep the changes.
The charger will reboot one more time to assign the single voltage mode.
