Built in the USA, HF-MAX features rugged industrial construction, fan-free natural convection cooling and a wide operating temperature range of –40°C to +70°C—delivering lasting reliability in demanding wayside environments.
HF-MAX houses multiple modular, hot-swappable Intelligent Power Modules (iPMs) within a single chassis. Configurable from N+1 to N+N redundancy, this architecture helps maintain continuous operation while allowing modules to be serviced or replaced without shutting down the charger.
HF-MAX offers advanced capabilities for today’s railroad systems, including Ethernet connectivity, SNMP support, and sophisticated alarm and event-logging functions. Full AREMA compliance further ensures the platform meets the demanding requirements of modern railway applications.
With peak efficiency exceeding 93%, HF-MAX consumes less AC power and generates less heat—helping reduce energy use and thermal stress. The chargers are also compliant with California Energy Commission requirements.
Redundant, hot-swappable iPMs help minimize service interruptions, while remote Ethernet connectivity and advanced alarm and event logging give teams greater visibility into charger performance.
